Coaching

Coaching works by unlocking your own potential through skilled listening and powerful questions — creating a space where you can think clearly, find your own answers, and move forward with confidence. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from it. You just need a willingness to explore.

What we might work on:

  • Understanding what's holding you back and what you really want

  • Exploring your priorities and what matters most to you

  • Recognising and making more of your strengths

  • Developing your performance and impact, at work and beyond

Are you stuck? This might help.

I have spent many years mentoring students and emerging professionals in the television industry on behalf of the BBC, National Geographic, and the Universities of Bristol, the West of England and Salford.

What a mentee says about me...

During my Wildlife Documentary Production Master’s degree I took part in a mentoring programme, where Dominic supported me in developing my goals in wildlife filmmaking.

Over the course of 10 months, we had regular sessions talking about my progress and evolving projects.

From the very beginning he was knowledgeable, encouraging, generous with expert advice and honest feedback.

His guidance helped me improve my work, grow in confidence, and develop a much stronger understanding of the wildlife film industry. Thank you so much!

That long track record of supportive, developmental work is the foundation on which my coaching practice is built — the difference being that coaching doesn't require a shared professional background.

Whatever your field, whatever your situation, the process is the same: skilled listening, powerful questions, and the space to find your own way forward.

I have completed my ILM Level 5 training in Effective Coaching and Mentoring and am currently building my practice hours towards full accreditation. If you are curious about what coaching could do for you, the first step is simply a conversation, no fee, no obligation...

...what do you think?
